Recipients receive a salary of 19,000 EUR per year and all regular provisions for university research fellows, including office space. 19-21 June 2013: the Faculty of Philology (USC) hosted IWoDA’13. The workshop was organized by the same teams that made the first edition, IWoDA’11, such a great success in 2011: SCIMITAR (Santiago-Centred International Milieu for Interactional, Typological and Acquisitional Research) and D&I (Discourse & Identity), two research groups affiliated to the Department of English and German of the University of Santiago de Compostela. 22-26 May 2013: the research teams VLCG (Variation, Linguistic Change and Grammaticalization) and SPERTUS (Spoken English Research Team at the University of Santiago de Compostela), both affiliated to the Department of English and German at Santiago de Compostela, hosted the 34th International Conference of the International Computer Archive of Modern and Medieval English (ICAME34). Prior meetings in the series were held at Lancaster (2009), Giessen (2010), Oslo (2011) and KU Leuven (2012), among other universities abroad.
